Tiny town, Old house, Crazy family.

This is me.  This is my family.  This is my crazy life.

We live in a tiny town.  Curtis Michigan to be exact.  It is located in the Upper Peninsula between South and Big Manistique Lakes.  It's a town that relies heavily on tourism.  Being a lake town, our summers are crowded, our winters are quiet ~ minus the sounds of snowmobilers.

We are buying an old house.  My main reason for starting this blog is to document our renovation of this 1909 built, currently neglected two story house.  It used to be an old resort 'main' house back in the day.  It was called the Portage Park Resort.  We close on Monday.

This is my crazy family.  David and I are both 'divorced with children' types and decided to join our lives together creating this crazy family life of ours.  Together we also run his construction business, and on the side I have a tiny shirt and sign business.  We are always on the go in one way or another, and maybe just maybe in our spare time, we'll have time for each other.
