Wall Tidbits

We found a few interesting tidbits in the wall while we were gutting.

Our cutest find, the 2 of hearts.  I tore it when I found it.

Our dated find.  A May 1926 calender sheet.

In the pantry there were tobacco papers and gas stamps.

Our weirdest find.  David thought it was for a horse.
I knew it was for something else.
As I dusted it off, I saw what it said.

My interest was sparked and I hit the internet.
A device used for prolapse uterus issues.  According to the internet, was a more common problem when corsets were common.  Once I told the boys what it was, all they kept saying was "What in the world was it doing in the wall"

What in the world?
